I’m an Irish food-lover, living in Copenhagen. I have TONS of cookery books in my kitchen and often get inspired by recipes I find on the net. What usually happens though is that I end up changing recipes by adding or replacing this and that. My aim with this blog is to share with you non-complicated recipes that I love.

    Blog thoughts???? Forget it, just what I need more things to do—NOT!!!! HOWEVER TRY MY TOFU MARINADE (ALSO GREAT FOR BEEF AND CHICKEN BREASTS) IT FANTABULOUS!!!!

    The chocolate—very addicting even the kids went crazy for it—Went with the kids to Lugano to check out if we’d want to move there (NOT) and hit EVERY SINGLE supermarket around until……..I FOUND THE CHOCOLATE!!!!!! I bought 10 bars which didn’t even last 5 days…….hmmmmmm

      Yes, I must try your marinade. Have never really been a big fan of Tofu, well actually I’ve never really given it a chance. Re the chocolate….hmmm, can see why you hit the gym today ;-)

      Hi Arl,
      Do you think you could just give me that tofu marinade recipe again? Aisling has decided to have a vegetarian week after seeing dead ducks at a food show on Sunday and has been begging for tofu. (Excuse me while I throw up a little – am just not so into it, but am willing to give it another go).

    Hi Kerry, can you let me know if the butter needs to be cold or just at room temperature for the scones as I never seem to be able to make nice light scones. Thxs. Lorna

      Hi Lorna, I would say the butter should be on the cool side. Also, it’s best if you can cut as many as possible out of the first rolling as these will be the lightest ones. Be careful not to roll the dough out too thin or they will end up flattish and disappointing (I’ve tried it ;) Otherwise, this recipe is pretty fool-proof. I hope you enjoy!
